The collaboration will provide a funfair without music or loud noises, catering to those with sensory problems. This initiative aims to give every child the opportunity to enjoy the funfair regardless of their abilities.
The partnership between Weymouth Carnival and Danters Funfair is a positive step towards inclusivity. The lack of music and loud noises will create a more comfortable environment for children with sensory problems. This will enable them to enjoy the rides and attractions without feeling overwhelmed or anxious. The collaboration will ensure that every child has the chance to experience the fun of the fair.
Overall, the joint effort of Weymouth Carnival and Danters Funfair is a commendable initiative. It provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for children with disabilities. By removing the barriers that may have previously prevented them from enjoying the funfair, this collaboration is a step towards a more accessible and inclusive society.
The event will take place on the 12th April at Danters Funfair outside Weymouth Pavilion, with approximately 200 people being in attendance.

Jake Brewer, who is the Health & Safety Officer for the Weymouth Carnival, mentioned that Danters Funfair is doing some amazing work with children who have disabilities all across the UK.
” Danters Funfair is really passionate about making sure that kids with disabilities have the same opportunities to have fun and enjoy themselves as other kids do. They understand that there aren’t always enough resources available for these children outside of school, so they work really hard to provide them with a safe and inclusive environment where they can have a great time. “
” I think it’s really inspiring to see a company like Danters Funfair taking such an active role in making sure that all kids, regardless of their abilities, are able to have fun and enjoy themselves. It’s great to know that there are people out there who are dedicated to making the world a more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone. “
