With talks about potential changes of Roald Dahl’s books due to comments referencing a character’s appearance such as “fat” or “ugly” have sparked a severe debate online over the society we live in with some claiming to live in a world full of “wokes”

A resident named Dave was frustrated and told us of his anger and contacted us saying:

” I don’t like wokes because of Roald Dahl’s stories being changed due to words like “fat” and “ugly”. Roald Dahl is one of the most beloved children’s authors of all time, and his stories have been enjoyed by generations of children. However, recently, some of his stories have been changed to remove words like “fat” and “ugly” that some people find offensive.”

” This is a shame, because it takes away from the original stories that Roald Dahl wrote. His stories were meant to be enjoyed by children of all ages, and by changing the words, some of the original meaning and charm of the stories is lost. Furthermore, by changing these words, it implies that children should not be exposed to words like “fat” and “ugly”, which is not necessarily true. “

” In conclusion, I don’t like wokes because of Roald Dahl’s stories being changed due to words like “fat” and “ugly”. It takes away from the original stories, and implies that children should not be exposed to certain words. Roald Dahl’s stories are beloved by generations of readers, and should be enjoyed in their original form. “
